Alan's Story
Life
I am about to turn 63 which is a bit hard for me to believe. I live in the Seattle area with my wife Joyce of 32 years and my two kids(one daughter, one son) live in Chicago and LA, respectively. Practised law in NYC for about 10 years after graduating from Duke Law School and then moved west to SF to help start a small wireless company in 1990. ireless(Cellular One).We sold T Mobile to Deutsche Telekom and Western Wireless to Verizon. Together we have about 40 million customers and 45,000 employees. I retired for about 10 minutes about ten years ago and then started a new company with the other co-founders of T Mobile and Western Wireless. I sit on the boards of three Universities and a number of community service organizations. I really enjoy what I am doing, playing golf and enjoying my family tremendously.
