Alan's Story
Life
Involved in Hotel & Resort Security for 15 years after graduation. Currently President of a Security Consulting firm, specializing in litigation support, and expert witness services in premises liability and negligent security litigation. Also Vice President and General Manager of a Polygraph firm.
I married a lovely lady in 1981, Lourdes, who fortunately fopr me has been patient and understanding enough to put up with me for over 27 years. We have a daughter born in 1986, who graduated from Palmetto in 2004.
School
Started at Miami-Dade right after ...Expand for more
high school. Also started working right after graduation. The job took priority and I stopped attending Miami-Dade. In 2004 I returned to Miami-Dade and got my Associate degree in Criminal Justice Administration at the same time my daughter started her first term there. I am three classes away from completing a Bachelor program at St. Thomas University.
Relaxation
I became heavily involved in the Youth Ministry Program at my church, working with high school teens 3 to 4 days a week. I also teach a class each year to 9th graders preparing for Confirmation.
