Alan's Story
Workplace:
I worked at Jordano's Super Market #9 on lower Milpas Street as a bag boy all thru high school (1967-1969). I then worked at Pet Manor pet shop for six months right after high school graduation, until I went into the Navy. After the Navy, I started work in the Santa Barbara News-Press composing room where I worked my way up to department supervisor. ed, I was next transfered to the printing division where I am still employed to this day.
Personal life:
I have been married only once, it lasted one year ( a very bad marriage ). I have never remarried. But, I have one wonderful daughter and she has given me two handsome grandsons, Kaden and Tanner. My dad passed away in 1991 and my sister just passed away September 29th., 2009. My mom, is still alive and kicking at 86 years old.
