Alan's Story

I have been a professor of psychology at the University of Nevada in Reno, Nevada since 1994. I am married (wife Armida) and have 4 children. My work as a professor is as varied as it is fun. (college, work), Ecuador (Peace Corps), Seattle (graduate school, work), Ohio (work), Sweden (work) and now Reno, Nevada (since 1994). Although I miss the Boston area and still enjoy visiting there, life here in the high desert is very good. The environment is beautiful, with great skiing, and essentially no humidity.
