Alan's Story
After Lee High went to Texas Tech for 1 year (had TOO MUCH FUN), went into the Air Force four years then back to Midland for a year & a half then Dallas for a brief spell. Came to Richmond Virginia to visit Mom for Christmas and ended up staying. Went out to eat one Fiday night in 1972 and wound up in North Carolina getting married, still married to same one 37 years later. (But I refuse to go back to that restaurant).2 kid...Expand for more
s, boy & girl married with 2 kids each. 2 boys and 2 girls for grandkids. Just took early retirement from Henrico County Public Schools where I was in charge of the Maintenance personnel maintaining 69 schools. My son owns a floor covering business and for something to do, I work 15 to 20 hours a week with him if I am not on the golf course or at the river house fishing or something like that. In other words, "Life Is Good!"
