Alan's Story

Attended grades 1-3 at Lynch View then grades 4-8 at Lynch Park. Retired from Portland Fire & Rescue on August 1, 2015, after 35 years. This stretched my service with prior volunteer and career development work to 40 years in total. I have also owned and operated a small commercial painting company while in the Fire Service. Art & Landscape Photography. My work has mainly appeared in printed books and recently in local galleries. I feel very fortunate to enjoy continued good health in retirement. My wife and I travel as much as we can and spend some fall/winter months in Arizona. Our main residence is still here in Gresham. Please feel free to say hello or drop me a line.
