Alan's Story
Judy (Crum -also RHS Class of '59) and I were married for over 50 years. Judy passed away October 16, 2011.
Our kids - 5. One died in 1963. The rest are doing well, 1 in Florida, 2 in Tennessee and 1 in Ohio.
My Job - What job? Totally retarded, or is that retired?
Went into the Marine Corps 4 days after graduation from RHS. Trained as a radio operator then transferred to electronics manitenance for 18 years. Served 2 tours in Viet Nam in 1965-66 and 1969. etired from active duty after 20 years and moved to Florida. Worked in the computer industry for another 25 years teaching, network administrator and technician before retiring in 2004.
Joineds the Elks in 1982 because I wanted to play on the pool team and party. Ended up serving in all the chairs and serving as Exalted Ruler twice, Then on to District Vice President and District Deputy. Too old to go any further so I just help out where I can.
Hobbies are radio controlled airplanes, pinochle and poker, working around the house and helping others.
