Alan's Story

My wife and I met when we were 12 at summer camp. We had contact on/off and then reconnected when we were both in our mid twenties and got married at 27. We lived in Spring Valley, NY for 7 years and then relocated to Plano, TX (Dallas). After moving to Texas, we decided to get a Golden Retriever and ended up purchasing a show puppy. This puppy did much winning and we have remained active in showing dogs and breedin...Expand for more
g show and pet companion dogs. We have also raised and shown Brittanys as well as Golden Retrievers. My youngest daughter became very active in showing and remains the youngest (on record) to participate in junior showmanship at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club in 1999. At the height of her junior showmanship career, she was ranked in the top five of junior showmanship for both Golden Retrievers and Brittanys.
