Graduated in 65, shortly thereafter moved to New York City and went to school and worked for several years. While on vacation I met my future wife who was visiting Oregon and was from West Texas. I moved back to Oregon in 71 and we've been married for over 50 years. I was fortunate and married the nicest person I ever met and shes put up with me for all these years. While in school, my father abandoned my mother and my younger brother and sister, so I worked a lot after school and on weekends to help out and was not very social. I wasn't in clubs, or school activities to speak of, just worked and I didn't even show up for my graduation ceremony. Just the way it was in those days. But as soon as I had the opportunity to leave the area and start my life an opportunity opened up on the East Coast and I took it and never looked back. Never did get my degree but was able to start a business here in town, NorthWest Insulators, and NW Insulation Removal Co.
