Alana's Story

After high school I worked in Honolulu at a Title and Escrow Company for a while. Then moved to Los Angeles with Rena Peterson, where we worked for a company that produced airplane parts catalogs. Married William "Boy" Akiona (KHS c/o 66) in 1970. Moved back to Oahu in 1973. We have six children, 3 guys and 3 girls, 11 gr...Expand for more
andkids with 1 more due Mar 2010, 5 greats with 1 more also due in Mar. Our family numbers somewhere between 30-40. I am working at Wai'anae Coast CMHC doing payroll but hope to retire in a couple of years. Boy retired in 03 after 30+ years connected with the military. In 1979 we moved to Makaha, where we still live today.
