Albert's Story
Life at present..................
As for me, It's 2023 and I'm still living in New Mexico playing the dog in the cage due to the C-19 situation, I stopped working back in 2008 due to health, but I'm still kicking. though winding down slowly. I am as active as my health permits, I still own my Motorcycles but hardly ride anymore. Still a member of a club called Goldwing Road Riders Association. I'm not as active with my photography like my earlier days either. Some of you know by the pictures I've sent or posted on Facebook over the years. I'm thankful for who I am and how far I've come in Life. I have five beautiful children, four grand children, a beautiful wife as my companion, and I'm able to put food on the table and pay the bills each month. I recently bought my first home here in New Mexico back in 2009, I had rented all my life and figured it was time to settle down permanently I guess! I retired from the U.S Army and now deal with my disabilities, but would do it all over again if needed. I wish all the best success now and beyond to you all, and remember to Support and Pray for all of our Soldiers who every minute sacrifice their live's so that we may enjoy our freedom here in The Good Ole USA. (GOD SPEED! My Brothers And Sisters)
All take care now! Albert M. Kane Class Of 1973

Military
I first entered active duty in the U.S Army, on November 29 1977 in Bangor Maine. From here I was flown to Fort Bliss located in El Paso Texas. I thought I was on the moon when I looked out across that wide open desert the next morning. I completed my Basic Training and AIT schooling here and Fort Bliss became my first permanent duty station. My first overseas tour was in Bitburg Germany. From here it was back to Fort Bliss, then back to Bamberg and Hohensfel Germany, then back to Fort Bliss where I retired 1 Jan 1998. I served as a Radar Technician while in the service, as well as an Air Defense Radar Systems Instructor several times during my career. I spent 17 years in the Hawk Air Defense system and my last three years in Patriot Air Defense. I am still very much Military and always will be. It's forever in my blood and soul. There's an old saying! "Old Soldiers Never Die, We Just Fade Away." To all my fellow Classmates and Friends from long ago, hope life will treat you well and be long in years. "God Speed" AMK
