Albert's Story
Life
Born and raised in San Antonio. After high school, I worked for Thom Mcan Shoes downtown before I enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves in August 1964. Later I moved to Austin in 1966 as an Assistant Store Manager for Thom McAn Shoe stores. I next went to work for IBM Corp. in 1967.

I was then employed as a Systems Analyst with Texas Department of Public Safety and in March 1, 2008, retired for good.
I am married to Pat Rios, who attended Highlands H.S. in San Antonio and we have two sons.
I graduated from St. Edward's University, with a BBA in Business Management.
I am also a cancer survivor having been diagnosed in 2005 with Multiple Myeloma which is now in remission.
