John 3:16 For God so loved the world (that's everyone past, present and future) that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever (anyone) believeth in him, (that means trust that he died for their sins and that he is theyâre only way to get into heaven) should not perish but have (present tense) everlasting life.
God made salvation so simple, that all we have to do in order to be saved eternally is to believe in what Jesus did at the cross. That he took all of our sins past, present and future upon himself, and in exchange gave us his righteousness. That he died and rose again on the third day. Nothing more, nothing less. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Salvation is a gift, and you can't earn a gift.)
John 6: 37 & 39
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (Those of us that believe in Jesus as our only means of salvation will not be cast out for any reason.)
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. (So not only will Jesus never cast us out, but it is the Father's will that he will lose none of us.)
Romans 8: 38 & 39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(The Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. If we could lose our salvation and be thrown into hell, then He would have to come with us. And that's not going to happen. Once we are saved, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, and he will be with us now and forever.)".
