Albert's Story

From S.R.C.D.S. Albert went back to public high school and then on to college. In 1975 he moved to Manhattan, N.Y. for 2 years, during which time; spent one season at the Santa Fe Opera in N.M. building set props for three operas, wrote and played music in coffee houses and on the street. In 1977 he moved to W.V., married, ran his own custom sign shop, built 2 houses, did a lot of caving, raised one son, Eli, divorced in 2001. In fall 2002 Albert moved to Princeton, W.V. introducing people to Healing Therapy, a spiritual, practical approach to address physical illness, the chaotic nature of life, mental stress, and emotional suffering. With $200 in cash and several credit cards he started Sacred Ground at 910 Mercer St. He packed the store with books, religious icons and supplies from a number of perspectives to create a comfortable non-judgmental atmosphere. He has used Healing Therapy in over a thousand sessions aiding local clients to regain lost personal power and spiritual balance. His plain truth teachings help people make better decisions. Mr. Perrone has been a participating board member of the Windhorse Healing Arts Center since 2004. From 2003-2008 he was responsible for designing and helping to create language for all of the printed media to promote a stream of programs for Windhorse. He has also provided his skills working with more than 500 Windhorse participants. Practicing Kriya Yoga Albert teaches a meditation class every Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M. He plays solo musical engagements and with his band Option 22. He also works as a freelance typographer and book designer, producing 4 books in as many years.
