Aleida's Story

Life I was born in Cuba in 1948 and came to the U.S. in 1960. I was known as Didi in Flushing High. In 1967 I married Gonzalo Mejía, we have 3 children, Lourdes 34, Patricia 33 and Gonzalo Jr. 26. We have 3 grandch...Expand for more
ildren. We have been living in Ecuador, South America since 1975 where my husband was a very successful banker. Now we dedicate our time to social work helping the poor and trying to make a better living for them.
