Life
Well what can one say about one's self without sounding too egomaniacal, or self-efacing??? I attended the University of Life after graduating from high school, I would like to think that I am currently working on my "Master's Degree". Still living in Calgary. A quiet sedate life, in comparison to toiling in the "Patch" for some 17 +/- years I gave up on my life as an adventurer and got married and now have a little girl. Which is a whole new adventure. Still working in the "patch" although rather than riding a quad through the bush, chasing bears away. I ride a desk trying to keep my sanity. So ultimately the question is has it all been worth it? , I have done things and been places only a handful of people have seen or done. I consider myself retired now... kicking back...raising my daughter... stll working 9-5 but that's a far cry from the 12-16 hour days... 7 days a week for months at a time that I used to work when I was in the field...although providing a loving and stable environment...raising a child...seems to be a bit more emotionally intense than I figured it would be... recently took up Roman Catholicism... not sure if it will "take" or not... I've always held a strong belief in the "Creator" whether my philosophical beliefs mesh with Catholicism has yet to be determined..BUT so far so good :oP
