Life Hello everyone! Been how many years! 32!! A brief 'bio' will help catch you up. After not liking Cal State LB, I joined the Army. Spent 17 years (active duty, inactive and active reserve duty). I loved being a 'cold war' citizen-soldier. After leaving my assignment at the Pentagon (just one of several assignments around the U.S.), I joined a local (Bell, CA) reserve unit that sent me to a fort in Massachusetts for a year-long school in electronics and counter-surveillance. After completing the school, I returned to my unit and after a short while found they were not what I had been hoping for. I left the reserves and came back to Mass. I work for 'the phone company' (has changed so many names, it's hard to keep track!). Verizon Communications (not the Wireless side) is where I hang my hat these days. I work in the Special Services Department. We work on data and voice circuits, alarm lines, monitoring circuits, 9-1-1 equipment. It's been a pretty good place to work so far. If you are wondering about my "relationship status" - well, I am currently single. I do not have any children, although I care very much for the grand-children of my girl friend....Expand for more
