Alex Howard:  

Life Left Connellsville June 1970 attended and Graduated from Cleveland Engineering Institute Dec1971 with an Associate Degree in Structural Engineering. I then enlisted in the US Army and spent the next 12 years as a TOW/Dragon Missile Repairman and Military Police (M.P.). Did basic at Fort Jackson, SC in Company E-2-1 Jan-March 1971 then proceeded to Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL for school to become a 27E TOW/Dragon Missile Repairman. After graduating I received orders for Germany. After arriving and reporting in to the 21st Replacement Company Frankfurt Germany, I was assigned to the 223rd Ordnance Detachment in Hanau, Germany which later became the 71st Ordnance Company. Completed my tour in Germany and was assigned to Fort Carson, CO. where I was assigned to G Company 704th Maintenance Battalion spent two an half years there and was resigned back to the 71st Ordinance Co. While on this tour to Germany I became a M.P. and ended as a temporary NCO Club Manager and started working on my degree in Criminal Justice. I really enjoyed this tour...Expand for more
