Alex's Story
Life
Still living in Peoria (The P). Right now I am working hard at Caterpillar, Inc., and I'm still single.
School
Since I graduated I have not stepped foot into Woodruff yet. It's just not in my time. High school was fun. To answer these generated questions...I had a crush on every fine sista in my class. (Kelly, Racey, Erica, Shanika, LaToya to name a few) But that was the past.
Every teacher there had something that inspired me. Wouldn't have made it if there wasn't. But to do it all over again? I would. There were some things I would change. So people I would have talked to more. Some activities I would have put more effort into.
And what up to all my basketball teammates when we played together.

llege was a great experince. To me it was a hyper-energized version of high school. The cultural change from upper mid-west life to down home southern life, impacted me tremendously. To go from "wassup" to "what up whoady" threw me for a loop. But college is what it is, a mixing pot of different cultures and lifestyles from all over the nation. The best thing I enjoyed about Grambling was the football games. All them black folks! It was awsome! And the band...The Best Band In the Land!!! Off the chain.
Workplace
Caterpillar, Inc. (2003-present)
Currently I am a Storage control operator for Caterpillar, Inc. in their Morton Logistics facility. I came through the back door after college. So I'm moving up that ladder surely enough. And I will be pursuing a second degree and then a Masters.
