Rosalind's Story
JUNE 2012
Can't hardly believe we are starting to plan our 30 year REUNION. The WORLD has changed so much since we graduated from high school! The things we worried about growing up our children will never encounter. Just as ironic, the things they face growing up we could NEVER have imagined. I often say being a parent is the hardest job anyone will EVER. I am currently in between jobs and my "career" as a full time Mom has been my focus. I have reflected on my life a lot lately. I watched my oldest daughter, when she was 6 years old play with a typewriter for hours. She started using the computer at 18 months old. She had to show my mother how to turn it on. This summer she is starting driving lessons! My youngest daughter has aspirations to be a Veterinarian. I plan to do WHATEVER it takes to make sure she achieves that goal. 30 years WOW that is a long time but it really doesn't feel like it's been that long.
I STILL love the reality show Big Brother. My husband and I want to be contestants. It is coming back on soon!

1985 at the North Texas State University, now known as University of North Texas. There were 14 of us. I have enjoyed being a member of this illustrious sorority.
I wish I could tell all young ladies from Lincoln to make sure they remain ladies at all times, learn how to cook, crying over your first boyfiend is ok but then move on, save as much money as you can, and to keep God first.
When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be too old to do anything. I was so completely wrong. I truly believe you are as young as you think you are. Of course we should all act our age.
In the 28 years since I graduated I have had some wonderful times. The year 2008 will go down in history as the best and worst year of my life. It was the best year for me because I witnessed history in the election of the 44th President of the United Stated Mr. Barrack OBAMA! The worst, or should I say the most life changing, when my dear mother passed away March 8, 2008.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Eddie Chadwick, because after graduation we became good friends.
