I'm not even sure if anyone will read this, but it's worth a shot. First off, I'd like to apologize for the type of person I was in high school. I got involved in the wrong kind of things and it really messed me up. But, I think I've come a long way since...
After I didn't graduate in '92 (1 credit short), I decided to begin PCC anyway and did finish off that 1 credit. I even walked across the stage with the class of '93 so my parents could see me do it. I joined the US Army Reserves in '93 and was able to travel all over, including a couple of trips to Thailand and a 6 1/2 month deployment to Bosnia. I spent 10 years in before my honorable disharge in '03.
I met the man of my dreams in '96 while working at the Benson Hotel in downtown Portland. He was from Hawaii, so I eventually followed him back there. We were married in '...Expand for more
01 and have two beautiful, angelic (yes, I'm biased) children. Ysabel is 6 and in the 1st grade, and Christian is 3 in his first year of preschool.
It took a while, but I did receive my bachelor's degree from PSU in 2002, majoring in Sociology.
We're currently living in Hawai on the island of Kauai. Michael (my husband) is a firefighter with Kauai Fire Dept, and I'm a senior probation officer with the Family Court (a PO for a bunch of delinquents). I never thought that I'd be working with the type of kids that I used to party with in high school, but here I am. (Funny how it works out like that...)
We are currently self-building our dream house on some property we have here on Kauai. We hope to finish the house by spring, 2009.
I am very happy with how my life has turned out. It was a long, rough road to where I am, but I made it.
