Alfred's Story
It's been an interesting life so far. Graduated from Brooklyn High School without distinction. Went to Cleveland State University where I promptly flunked out after one year due entirely to my excellent study habits. Worked for three years (Ford Motor Company and Harris Calorific) and realized that I may not be able to rely on my strength all the time so I worked my way back into school. First Cuyahoga Community College then Cleveland State then Arizona State University when I moved to Arizona. Graduated with a BS in Accounting.
I worked at numerous companies and have my own tax and accounting company.
I married in 1976, had three boys and was divorced in 1987. That was tough but I got to admit I wasn't the greatest husband.
Remarried in June 1988 to Sharon. I thank God for her, she taught me what it was like to have a relationship with another person and she hung with me...Expand for more
during the learning process. She's pretty stubborn and I am the more fortunate as a result.
I became a Christian when I was twelve years old and managed to hide it from all of you for all those years. Keep in mind that that's not something to brag about. In 1974 I went back to church due to a number of interesting and weird circumstances and recommitted my life to my Lord and Savior. It has been an enriching life ever since even with the self made bumps and bruises along the way.
I hiked the Grande Canyon and the Havasupai Canyon. Wonderful experiences!
My kids saved up and took me to Alaska for my 60th. I had always wanted to go to Alaska and actually I really wanted to live there but that just never transpired. Now it's too late to move there (Alaska is hard on horses, women and old men).
Well, I may add to my story later and I may not. but that's at least a summary.
