Alfred's Story
Been in the midwest for 28 years..I like the pace of life...slow...I am retired form the mainstream..so its your world, and I watch from the sidelines...getting ready to build a cabin in the Piney Woods in Texas I have a 1/2 acre of woods to clear this comming spring...there is a big lake a 1/2 mile from the lot..so fishing is a plan and camping...10/29/08 Daughter is getting ready to open up a hair salon in Lafayette In. She just recieved her B.A.degree in Business Management..and is a great stylist..you can't tell looking at my wild hair. It will be interesting, like all DADS I will support her venture anyway I can...Just a side bar, remember the giant pizza's at Mazullies on Valley Blvd..Now that was a pizza..11/14/08 Just purchased an R.V. I am picking it up in South Carolina on the first week of feb.'09 Yeah for E-bay,,,its a R- Vision light weight travel trailer...never been there...should be an adventure..about 1400 mile round trip...tell u how it all went..Happy holidays... 12/25/08 Well I came back from my trip to SO. ts of historical places ie. Fort Sumtner, Naval facilities,,,and good old southern cooking. Got my camper... pulled it back to lafayette,In. Now I can plan outings...2/14/09..getting ready to go mushroom hunting in southern Indiana...they have a mushroom festival in mansfield, Indiana...wife does not want to go hunt the little morels,and ones they call pickerheads...these mushrooms grow wild in the woods during early spring...I will leave the 26th of april, and stay at the shades state park in my camper..for about 5 days..the mushroom festival in mansfieid starts the 28th and lasts two days...I will let you all know how I did...Is there a women out there that is not fearful to hunt pickerheads...let me know...ha,ha,,,3/9/09...Getting ready to go to a WOODSTOCK TRIBUTE CONCERT...near chicago...9 bands from Santana to Joe Cocker...A buddy of mine..his dad is the guy who mimics Joe Cocker...and will be at the gig..doing his thing...you cant tell them apart he is that good ...should be fun...I am taking my trailer and staying nearby in a campground this August 14th and 15th I HAVE ROOM FOR A LONG LEGGED GIRL..ha.. ha...LOVE and Peace...and i wont inhale....July 18...
