Alice's Story
In 1981 I married my first husband, Mike Christensen, he and I had a child in 1983 (my son Mike is now 30). We divorced in 1984. Then, I married Darrell Slocum in 1986, had 2 children with him, a boy, Xander, (now 27), and a girl, Katie, (now 23). We divorced in 1999.
Right now, I'm working at a printing company in Livermore, California. Nothing glamorous, nothing great, just a job. I do the Bil...Expand for more
ling and Accounts Payable. It pays the bills. The great thing about my job is that I work with a group of wonderful people whom I consider my family. They're all great friends.
I have two grandchildren, Bryten James, who was born in July of 2009 to my son Mike and his wife, Katie, and they also just had a girl in February, Lailah Elise. I also have another grandchild that is due in November 2013.
