Alice's Story
I got married in April 1999. My husband I moved to Connecticut in January 1997 because he received a job promotion with his company. Moving to CT was an adjustment at first but after 11 years here we have definitely settled in. I have two wonderful children. A daughter born in August 2002 and a son born in October 2006. As mentioned up above, I live in central Connecticut in the Greater Hartford area. The town I live in is in between New Haven & Hartford. ary, April and summer recesses/breaks. I cannot believe that this coming June it will be 23 years since the MacArthur class of 1986 graduated. It doesn't seem like nearly 23 years have passed and the fact that I'll be 40-years-old at the end of this year is another mind-blowing thing. Where does the time go? Now I know what my parents and my grandparents meant when they said to slow down and enjoy life. When we're younger we don't realize how quickly the time goes by. So, everyone.......stop, enjoy life, and enjoy your health, your family and your good (true-blue) friends because those are the only things that truly matter.
