Alicia's Story

Life After graduating in 88, I completed my bachelor's degree in Business Education from FAMU (Go Rattlers!) in 93. Went back to teach at Westwood in 93 and taught there for 10 years. I had an awesome experience teaching with our former teachers (Mr. Woulard, Mrs. Glenn, Mrs. Haynes, Coach Johnson, Mr. Ayres, Mrs. Rodic, Mr. Campbell, Mrs. Gaines, Mrs. Williams, Coach Brown, Mrs. Broxton, and Mrs. McGee-just to name a few). I have even taught students who are now themselves Westwood graduates and probably searching this site for th...Expand for more
eir classmates. I also had the experience of teaching with one of my former students at Westwood-how weird that was! I got married in 1997 to a Central Class of 85 graduate (Rod Gaskin). We currently reside in Port St. Lucie. I completed my master's degree in technology in 2003 and I am currently a Media Specialist at Fort Pierce Central High School. Outside of work and home, I am heavily involved with my church. I also have an entreprenuerial task I am taking on which I may further update you on when the time is right.
