Such a little space to write about 46 years. Oh, well..... here goes. I was the one that tried very hard to make class fun...(didn't always succeed) That's why I was placed at the front of the study hall with my back to the rest of you. I was so glad that the pencil sharpener was on the desk I sat at. That way, friends could come a chat with me. Since high school, there as nursing school in Aurora. I started up in Rockford, but partying got in the way, came home, worked at Ideal at night, and then one day, Mother threw me in the car and took me to Aurora - Copley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was such a smart lady!! After nursing school, I went to Columbia MO and worked at the University hospital for 7 years. I met Gary (he was a Paramedic and I was an ER nurse) After getting married, we went to southern MO and opened a small rural hospital. he was the Office manager and I was the Director of Nursing.
