Alison's Story
Life
In 2001, I worked for Portland Habilitation Center (non-profit company that trains and employs disabled adults) as the Contracts Assistant. I learned alot from my boss regarding legal documents, writing and understanding contracts, costing proposals, etc.
Feb 2003, I bought Kona, my pride and joy, as a puppy!! He is now a 4 yr old malamute/rottweiller mix (a.k.a. an 95 lb. lap dog).
In Nov 2004, I decided to move and join my parents in Flagstaff, Arizona. My parents are missionaries. My Dad works for the Indian Bible College (bible classes for Natives that want to take the word of God back to their tribes) as the business manager, his income is strictly from those who have committed to send monthly support, and my Mom works for the Forest Service, at the Peaks Ranger Station in the business services dept.

eather conditions, to Idaho, and then down to AZ. I drove to Idaho, visited my cousins and aunt and uncle. And proceeded to wait for my cousin's work schedule to free up so that we could drive south! I ended up spending 3 wks in ID, and then we drove for 12 straight hours to my parents house in Flagstaff (nearly 1,000 miles)! Unfortunately I was not able to bring Kona with me, due to the house we were in was a rental, with a "no-pet" clause.
I am now working at Flagstaff Medical Center, as the Marketing Dept Secretary. Flagstaff is extremely beautiful. It sits at 7000 feet (quite a change from sea level), with views of the local snow capped mountains, Mt. Eldon and The Peaks.
We will get snow over night, then the next day all you see is blue sky! The summers don't get any warmer than 85 degrees, however, winters drop down pretty chilly! I'm loving it so far!
Got my own place in June and also have Kona with me!
So, as you can tell, things are going quite well.
