Life -After graduating a year early to attend the U of KY, life got interesting. -Partied a lot in college, got a degree in Nutrition & Food Science (I have no idea what I was thinking). Was in a sorority, so thought I'd like to work in Student Services. Kept on attending classes and earned an MS Ed in Higher Ed. However, never did find a job (or, never found a college to hire me). -I'd been married and divorced by this time, and was living in Lexington KY selling Toyotas (not a booming economy in 86). So I packed myself up and did something I'd long dreamed of - moved to LA, CA. NO job, a friend's floor to sleep on. -Within 2 mos had a job at a low end catalog co. and been on a game show - won enough $ to move my dogs and my belongings into a new apartment in Studio City. Had lots of diff. jobs, all in direct/database mktg. Even worked for Disney Books by Mail (what FUN it was to work for the Mouse!) until they folded the division. Stayed in LA area for 8 years, until the earthquakes, fires, riots, and poor economy got to be too much. So hubby #2 and I moved to CT.
