Alison's Story
Life
Hi everybody. Here it is .. the end of 2006. Can not believe it has been nearly 15 years since high school. Not much has changed in life. I still live in Houston and am now working for a manufacturing company called NutraMax as a customer service rep. I've been there just over a year now. I love being out of the call center world and in a small office. It is a normal 8-5 job compared to the night shift I was working at Reliant. I still work close to home ... just 5 minutes away. My son Brandon is now 6 and doing great with his adoptive family. He is very healthy and very happy. I still count my blessings on finding that family to adopt him. na. He is in 1st grade and enrolled in the gifted and talented program. He knows who I am and understands he is adopted. I still love him and his family with all my heart.
I am planning to get back to school sometime in the near future to get a degree in social work. After 2 years at Blinn College and 3 at Sam Houston, I never achieved more then the associates degree. It wasn't until now that I figured out what I wanted to be when I grow up. That's about it for my life story. Take care everyone and see you in 2012!!!!
College
I got my Associates degree at Blinn and went on to Sam Houston State for 3 years, but never graduated. Decided I didn't want to be a teacher after all. Have been working ever since. I am working on returning to school soon to obtain that bachelors degree.
