Life
Living in NYC . I have two daughters from my first husband Paul Knepper. Hillary lives in New Rochelle, NY and teaches at Pace University in White Plains . Meridith lives in Orlando and is studying to become a court stenographer. They each have two children, Hillary's kids are Zoe born July 19, 1996 & Devin (adopted at age 18 months) born Nov 24, 2002. Meridith has Noah born August 12, 1998 & Sofia born April 13, 2005. I don't get to see enough of them, but they are naturally the most beautiful children I've ever seen (biased? moi? non!)
I live with 2 cats who are pretty much feral. They are littermates who were rescued from a parking lot under the Brooklyn Bridge (on the Brooklyn side). They are dark grey & black with stripes and polka dots. Big brother is named Merlin and little sister is named Sin-A-Mun. They give me a lot of pleasure and make me feel very special when one of them deigns to sit on my shoulder or lap and lick my hand. I have a time share on Ormond Beach for two weeks in September, so I usually get down there for part of that time period. I haven't been in touch with anyone from school, but do think of classmates from time to time & wonder how everyone is doing.
My darling husband Jeff died suddenly March 25, 2008 our 21st wedding anniversary would have been June 21, 2008. I'm still in denial. I try to be grateful for all of the wonderful years I had with Jeff, but I expected we would have many more.
I retired from 30 years as a business manager June 30, 2008 and am trying to figure out what I want to do next. Update here, I'm working two days a week at a little bookkeeping job and still have an Income Tax Prep. business. My family would like me to move back to FL, but NYC is a hard place to leave.
I always wanted to be a rocket scientist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea idea. As it turns out, they were absolutely correct. lol
I've recently become addicted to Facebook. I'm looking for a 12 step program!
