munity college with University planned for next year (I hope) I recently left my actuarial career in Corporate America. I just didn't like the culture and what I believe is its loss of purpose. Everyone has their own perspective. I'm only telling you how I feel. It’s no more right or wrong than what anyone else feels. I now trade futures and currencies and am considering some special actuarial situations. My worldview is that being alive here and now is just great I am living a life of self- discovery. I used to say I was on a "journey of self discovery" until I realized there is no place to go. Everything is with us right now. I meditate almost everyday and am my own "witness" (at least at the appallingly rare times I remember to do so). What I mean when I say "everything is with us right now," is that peace, love, whatever fulfilling life emotion we want is ours to feel when we get out of our own way and let it happen. Easier said than done. In fact, my father is the only person I have ever known who was just naturally at peace. I'm a voracious reader and learner. I love to learn and my interests range from Cosmology to sub-atomic physics and almost everything in between (I mean for the intelligent laymen. So no mathematical equations ). Except "chic flics. One of the founders of Quantum Physics (I forget who) once asked, "Why is there anything instead of nothing?" I love stuff like that.".
