Allan's Story
Here is a short synopsis of whats happened since 1970.
1971 -1973 I served a mission for my church in Alberta-Saskatchewan Canada.
1974 Married Dorothy Egan. I had known her since she was in the 7th grade and I was in the 9th.
I also joined the Air Force and and was trained as a fire control specialist on the F4-E aircraft. I worked on the radar that looked for other aircraft.
1975 My first son, Nathan, was born in Aurora, CO. I was stationed at Lowry AFB.
1975-1978 I was staioned at Gerge AFB in Victorville CA. My number 2 son, Brian, was born in '78.
1978-1980 Stationed at Ramstein AFB near Kaiserslaughtern, Germany. Loved it there.
1980 Ended my enlistment with the Air Force. Didn't want to go solo to Korea. Moved back to Utah and was hired as a test technician with Varian Ultrasound.
My daughter ,RaeLynn, was born in Clearfield, UT
1982 my #3 son,Scott, was born in West Valley, UT.
1984 My caboose son, Willie, was born in Taylorsville, UT
1980 to present I have worked mainly in the health industry with manufac...Expand for more
tors of health related equipment. Ultrasound, hyperthermia, and presently I am employed by Varian Oncology Systems working with cancer treatment and industrial radiation equipment. It may not have been the best paying carrer I could have pursued but I have gotten q lot of satisfaction out of knowing that in some small way I have helped thousands of people as they have suffered thru a terrible disease.
So I have have been married for 36 years, 5 kids, and 10 grandchildren. I have had a pretty full life.
I have kept in touch with some but not many of my high school friends as I hve moved alot. I have been happy to visit numerous time with Steve and Jan Klett (WA) and enjoy running into people here in UT that I know from school.
Looking forward to the two 40 year class reunions that are coming up for me. Where I graduate in Lake Stevens, Wa of course and my friends at Layton High , Layton, UT have been more than kind to include me in all of the reunions that they have had so far. I appreciate their kindness.
