John's Story

After highschool, I drifted a bit but ended up in Norman where I met and married a wonderful young lady from Chickasha and eked out an engineerng degree from OU. From Norman, we followed the oil fields around the world in a very satisfying career ending in 2004. We then retired to Norman and from there it went downhill as I lost my wife of 40 years in 2006 but was left wit...Expand for more
h three wonderful children and now have two grandchildren to spoil. And the best part of it that they are right here in Norman. I did attend the 50th reunion luncheon in 2010 and was rather disappointed by the poor turnout. I was hoping to meet up with some of my "old" friends from Putnam City and exchange life stories. Maybe this can happen in another day and another time.
