Mae's Story
My name was Mae Allen when I attend Washington
I was so homey at the time, but I worked after school
I was always trying to do better for myself. Yes I was
a little heavy, but cute. I was just a student that was
trying to get out of high school as soon as I could I
did not like school much. Now I am presently working
for the Postal Service for 29 years. I have three adult
children and three grand daugthers. ages 2,3& 4 yr.
I did get married in 1987 and ten years later my hus
band passed in 1997. I haven't remarried as of yet
but I don't know the future but I know when and if
the time comes. I might do it again right now I am
just focusing on my retirement in the next 6ys. and
I want to get into management. I have been acting
supervising. I have opened up a postal store during
my 11months of supervision also I was responsible
for 3 stations and 4 contract stations. Now I am
taking a break until I finish a little more sch...Expand for more
ool in
management. Nothing else but trying to live right
and putting GOD first in what ever I do, and he will
direct my path. Prayer does change things. May God
continue to bless everyone that is still alive and doing
well.

My Mother was my hero I only wish that I would have her strength
If I won $100 million, I'd give couple of thousand of it to shelter fathers that are homless, then spend the rest on church tithes, family and myself maybe not in that order.
My current age is 48. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be to old to do things. I was so completely wrong.
I work hard each day. I even stay at work until I am through at times. I plan to become a certified supervisor, then after that maybe Manager for the Postal Service
My best friend would tell you I'm fun and love to laught, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as looking mad or I am mean.
