Allen's Story
School
I graduated from Riley in 78 after graduating I joined the military.
Workplace
After retiring from the military I married to my loving wife Rita and a great son Devin. We have a home with a dog and bird. I started with Allstate and various other jobs until I found a position as a head custodian at a Elementary school district.. I am going on my 8th year.
Military
I joined the military right out of school. I Joined the Navy and became a Yeomen a naval petty officer assigned to cle...Expand for more
rical duties. My tour of duties were California, Japan, Hawaii, Philippines, Singapore, Kansas and finally retired in the state of Illinois Great Lakes. I retired after 20 great years of serivce. The military is still a big part of my life , "I still miss it a lot" -!! There is a sense of comradery that only the men and women who are still serving know-!!!
I always wanted to be a Engineer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
