Allen's Story
Life
Currently my wife of 41 years, Debbie, and I recently built a house at Holly Ridge, NC on the ICW and moved back to the area after retirement and being away for the past 30 years. We have a daughter and 3 grandchildren in Georgia and a son and 2 grandchildren in Tennessee. We enjoy the beach. I have a boat and enjoy offshore fishing.
Workplace

law enforcement until I got married and started having a family. Back then, $7.00 per hour to risk your life didn't go far with a mortgage, a wife, and two children.
I went to work for the Kroger Company in 1980 and retired in 2014.. We have moved 11 times in the past 35 years with Kroger and have worked in Wilmington, Columbia, S.C., Savannah, Ga., Myrtle Beach, Stockbridge, GA., Conyers, Ga., Covington, Ga. Lynchburg, VA., and Raleigh, N.C.
