Chris's Story
Life
Is this were everyone try's to impress each other, so we embellish
the 2.5 kids (2 are geniuses, the .5 is a little slow but we sent it abroad for special tutoring. Money is no problem). We have our white picket fences surrounding 3bdrms, 2baths, great room, formal dine, 3 car garage w/RV port and a mortgage up the wazoo. Traveled extensively throughout Europe and beyond. Being the good Baby Boomers that we are, our combined income is a modest
8 figure annually. Ya! Right!
My life hasn't been what I would have thought it would be. I'll spare you the boring details. The Best part of my life are my 2 kids, my son is 31 and is the best chief at a local Tavern. My daughter is 29, and has a daughter 6 and a son 4. I love being a Grandparent. After 23 years of being a June Clever I got a divorce, got a very lovely tattoo on my lower back then bought a Honda Rebel Motorcycle, did the two day weekend classes, passed, got my endorsement and never had so much fun in my life. Oh, yes my pets! We have a Koi pond, tank of African Dwarf Frogs and my Leopard Gecko.
School
School!!! I never got to go to Preschool or Kindergarten. I'm sure
everything can be traced back to being deprived of these two things
(along with being the MIDDLE sister). Grad...Expand for more
e school was uneventful.
Junior High a hormonal disaster and High School a royal pain in the butt and a complete waste of time. Teachers who inspired me? Does it sound like anyone inspired me? Now the extra curricular
activity "BOYS", that was were I excelled. I don't normally kiss and tell but one big crush was DH.
College
Me college!! I don't think so.
Workplace
I didn't end up with a "career", just a life full of regular jobs.
I started with the usual burger joints. I just kind of fell into
office work. Mainly bookkeeping/office manager. I worked in the
office of a home remodeling construction company and a home oil heating company. I also worked for a sign company. Most of my
experience was working in the medical field as a Doctor's Assistant, office manager/bookkeeper. My most rewarding experience was starting with a doctor who had be in practice only 6 mos. The doctor was treating patients, billing insurance, answering phones
and slowly going crazy. I was hired on the spot, barely an interview. I was shown to the front desk and told to "do what ever it is you need to do so I can treat my patients." I created my own job. The practice grew to the point we had a new office built. I worked there 13 years.
Military
