Allison's Story
Allison is from San Antonio, Texas. She is married with Steven W. Poteet( a Marshall grad). Her schools include Clark High School. She later attended The Victoria College and Texas State University and earned her MSW (master’s in Social Work), St. Phillips College (Massage Therapy). She served 4 years in the USAF and worked at Texas State as a tutor, also as a freelance massage therapist, and at the Excalibur Fantasy Faire as a drummer/belly dancer.
Allison's interests include Bacon, Reading, Natural medicine books, Canoeing, Surfing, Fly fishing, San Antonio Spurs, Venus Williams, Kelly Slater. Music she likes includes Scorpions, Dropkick Murphy’s, and Brian Setzer Orchestra. Books she likes include The Power of Now, Midwife, Th Edgar Allen Poe Collection, and The Poisonwood Bible. Movies she likes include Aquaman, Batman, Elf, Love Actually, and, Austin Powers, TV shows she likes include The Munsters, Gillian’s Island, How I Met Your Mother, Grace and Frankie, and The Good Place.

Move it man. The motion is the lotion, this is NOT a dress rehearsal. Everyday is that special Day. Eat on the nice china, wear the nice outfit! Get the champagne! Not the cheap stuff either!
I have...done a lot, went through the buffet of life and keep getting in line for more. I really want to try as much as I can get away with. I want my photo album to look like Rose (the old one in titanic) with all those photos of her doing amazing things. A life full of rich experiences with courage at the forefront..no I still haven't been skydiving. My bucket list has many things crossed off...learned to golf scuba, and got a black belt in tae kwon do. I have touched the bottom of the ocean, won a gold medal in a karate match, said goodbye to my father, and birthed 5 children. 2 at home. Last year I conquered my greatest dragon..I finally Graduated college!!! I don't want to miss a thing!
