Allyson's Story
A Golden Gate Alumin from Vallejo, Graduated with the wonderful class of 1978. Currently lives in Santa Rosa and frequently visits Vallejo. (old stomping grounds) I don't work there is no need for that. I'm childless but have two dogs that is equivalant to having children. They depend on me for everything. Even putting them to bed a night. They are the love of my life. They do whatever I do and that includes eating Sunflower seeds. Yes they only eat the seed and spit the shells out.
Going back to the days at the Academy; I came to GGA in my 8th grade year until I graduated in 1978. While I'm thinking about this let me ask. Does anyone remember Kevin Cash? If you do where is he? I remember him breaking all kinds of track recor...Expand for more
ds on the field at GGA. The records that he broke he ask me to spot him and if he could catch me ...... He didn't catch me. I bet I broke all kinds of records run with him but I was not the one they were timing. He came close but not close enough.
I also remember those corn dogs on Friday's. The Junior and Senior Prom (for the lack of a better word). Getting mad at my Senior date for signing a song about when he took me home and he got in trouble and his car taken away. I did not speak to him for the rest of the school year and during graduation realized that I wouldn't be seeing him not like I did everyday by coming to school and cried that entire weekend.
I miss GGA and all my classmates. Ruthie is forever gonna be missed.
