Alma's Story
After high school I stay working at the Community Center part-time. I worked with the kids on a after school program. I went to IVC for two years only.
Had a baby girl in 1985. Kept working partime and going to school. Five years later move to San Diego for a year. Love it there but had no one to babysit my daughter. hild. Came back to the Valley to be with my daughter and have my second daughter. Went back to work for Public Library but worked at the Center again. I loved working with the kids at the Center. We bought a house at Seeley and started to work at Seeley School as a teacher assistant when my youngest was in second grade. Been working there in the mornings and at the Center in the afternoons. Still working in both places, love it weekends and holidays off.
