Alona's Story
Went to Rochdale School then on the school up the hill (Memorial) for grades 5-7 .. spent 8th grade in Brockton at Southern Middle .. back to LHS for freshman and sophomore years.. kidnapped by parents, dragged kicking and screaming out of Mass.. so we moved from Leicester, Ma. to Burlington, NC .. got married for awhile, and did the '70s "get back to nature" by living on a 10 acre farm, raised goats and cats and learned to can vegetables. ly sick of that and the husband and decided to change my life. Went to college and became a nurse. I've been a pediatric ventilator/tracheostomy nurse for the past 15 years. At this time I spend my free time taking stained glass classes and playing po-keno and flying off somewhere I've never visited when I can find a long weekend just to say I've been there.
