Alonzo's Story
Life
I've been MIA for quite a few years and lost touch with almost everyone I knew from the old days. Those days when we went to the movies to watch Robocop and Indiana Jones. Those days when rap was new and we danced to Doug E. Fresh and New Edition. Those days when the Cosby Show was better than fresh bread.
I left the Washington, D.C. area in 1995 and moved to Hawaii. I lived with my fiancee', Linda, and we had a son, Zachary, whos 9 yrs. old now. Hawaii was great, but expensive. I was in the Hawaii National Guard and working as a Security Officer for various c...Expand for more

In 2001 terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center and attacked the Pentagon.
In 2004 my Hawaii National Guard unit was activated and we where sent to Iraq for 18 months (this included intense training in Texas and Louisiana, so our actual time in Iraq was about 10 months).
It was a time of change and during these times Linda and I decided to move from Hawaii to Maryland. I'm setting up in Forestville right now and she's still in Georgia; she'll be moving here in July.
