Alta's Story
I graduated June of 1960 and married January 13, 1961. I have 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. My husband passed away in March 15, 2006. We moved to Texas in 1966, then moved to Arkansas to pastor, then to Greeneville, Tn. We pastored there 9 yrs. My husband became too sick to pastor and we moved to Cleveland, Tn. where 3 of our 5 children live. He passed away March 15, 2006. I work at Lee University. ng. I sometimes teach bible study at church. I enjoy going to my grandsons ballgames. My children range from 39-47 yrs. of age. My grandchildren range from 7-24 yrs. of age. Being an only child, I never thought I would have 5 of my own; but stranger things have happened. I can't imagine life without them. I wish we could have traveled and see more of the country, but it wasn't easy with 5 kids. I am content here where I can spend time with my family and throughly enjoy life.
