Althea's Story

I grew up in Newark and attended Musick school for my Kindergarten year, then while they were building Ruschin Elementary I attended school in the Lido Fair appartments. I was just on the border, and attended Silva Jr. high instead of Mcgregor. I was always the tallest girl. I played cello in the orchestra, and enjoyed Girl's Glee as well. t Newark high then moved to San Jose. I think more about the kids I grew up with in Newark. I eventually got married and had a son in May of 1983. Sadly he passed away about 5 years ago. A parent should never have to bury their child, but with time, you find a way to get through it. I currently reside with my husband, Steve near family in beautiful Burney California.
