Alvis's Story
Hey! This is Alvis Lang and no, I did not graduate from JCHS. My family moved to Knoxville,Tn after my 9th grade year at Freshman. However, because I spent my formative years in Jeff City, I feel and have always felt a connection to JCHS.
I attended Lincoln Lab Ele for 2nd and 3rd grade, then Moreau Heights for 4th and 5th grades. The city changed the school zones and I had to leave Moreau Heights and attend East Elementary for the 6th grade. Of course, we all came back together at Simonsen Jr High for 7th and 8th grade. My last school year in JC was at what we simply called "Freshman" for the 9th grade.

e 10th and 11th grades. ( Incidentally, after 10th grade for the summer, I was fortunant to be able to come back to Jeff for a week long vacation, spent with one of my best friends, Ron Burkett.) Unfortunately, we moved again after 11th grade and I graduated from Highland Springs High School in Richmond, Va. From there, I attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. on a full athletic (football) scholarship. I graduated class of '80 with a degree in Psychology.
I'm hoping to hear from those of you with whom I went to school. I remember many names and lots of stories from my time there. Let's share a memory and have a laugh.
