Alyssa's Story

Life Personal: I have been married 9 years this September, have 2 children - ages 4 and 2 and another child on the way this Fall. Hobbies: My husband and I are avid sailors and race our boat on weekends out of Chicago. I also train for triathlons when I'm not pregnant. Work: I work to support our sailing habit. I am currently a General Manager at General Electric but have recently decided to work part-time in order to achieve more...Expand for more
work-life balance. College I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of New Orleans. Workplace 1998-present: I have been working for General Electric Healthcare in a variety of roles including Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, Marketing Manager and am currently a General Manager. 1991-1998: I worked for Monsanto Co. in Luling, LA and St. Louis, MO in manufacturing and production planning.
