Neil's Story
Life
Married Rosemarie Thomas in my senior year(Jr born in Sep). Entered the Army in 67, Tet 68, divorced in 70, remarried in 74 (Corina born in 76), graduated college in 79. Again divorced in 99. Worked with uncle DuPee 33 years before forced retirement, but still at same place doing part of same job today. Speaking of today, I'm a proud grandfather of 2 little minxes, own my own home & date frequently with several ladies. Life is good.
School
My biggest crush was on my algebra teacher at Colwyk. She was a Jeri Ryan look-alike. All I could do was stare, squirm & sweat.
I was inspired by Mr. Malin at Conrad, who taught me that teachers are human and made me look at myself the way others see me. He challenged me to succeed by saying I'd be dead or in jail before I was twenty.

thing was getting kicked off the JV football team for smoking before our first game (they lost every game that year).
My happiest high school days were at Conrad and Dickinson. Sallies, Newark, Colwyk (later De La Ware) & PSDupont couldn't even compare.
College
I never realized what an education meant until I took advantage of the G.I. Bill 13 years after high school. I truly enjoyed college both at Goldey Beacom and Wilmington Community. I'm only sorry I dropped out of the Master's program.
Military
Boot Camp at Fort Bragg
AIT (infantry) at Fort Jackson
Action in Viet Nam Oct 67 to Oct 68 (TET - 196th lt inf fireteam ldr, then 93rd MP protection Qui Yon) - acting jack
Stateside SEADOC - Fort Gordon - acting e-7 (battalion of students, then civilian VIP riot school transportation Sgt.)
