Life
So we've been out of high school for nearly 15 years now and I thought that keeping up with people from KO would be so difficult, but it seems that many of us sort of gravitated back to the same area. For those of you who are just getting married and for those who are having your first (or second) babies...CONGRATS! (Natalie & Eric, Jeff & Mel, Charlie & Vanessa, Gina & Ian...) For those building your first homes (AND having a first baby - Troy McMahon) - CONGRATS to you too! For those others of you who have dropped off our radar - we miss hearing from you and hope to get back in touch soon.
If you're curious, Mike Huffer & I are still married, celebrating wedding anniversary #15 next March. The kids are amazing - Jessica is 12, Monica is 11, Michael Jr. is 7 and Jacob is 5. They take care of Mike and I as much as we take care of them and they grow into more compassionate, fun-loving, intelligent little people every day. m with A&M Electric as much as I can, while I teach. I teach the dual credit English classes at Willis High School - juniors and seniors - and I also teach freshman English at Montgomery College. With Jess playing volleyball and basketball, Monica going into 4-H and possibly cotillion, Michael playing football and basketball, and Jacob playing football - we are BUSY! All the time - no reprieve! But, we love it and wouldn't trade it for a thing. We even add more to it just to keep us on our toes! Our newest "addition" arrived this past weekend. She is a beautiful English Mastiff named Bella. She is 4 1/2 months old and already 65 pounds. By the time she's 2 she should be around 200 pounds. I can't imagine our hands getting any fuller than that! But of course, the kids are growing too, so by the time Bella is 2, we'll be contending with the girls having boyfriends! Yay!
Life keeps on keepin' on, and I look forward to seeing you all again at the next reunion to see how you have kept up with life.
