Amanda's Story
In High School, people called me Mindy. I have lived in Louisiana since graduating from Nashua High School in 1991. I have been married for 15 years (yes, to that guy I met in Louisiana when I was in the 10th grade) and have 3 wonderful children....all boys. The good Lord blessed me by not having a girl. They are 13, 11, and 9. What a handful.
I am currently employed at the local K-12 school that my children attend as a Preschool assistant teacher. Let me tell you, this school is very different from NHS or any other school in Nashua. Their total enrollment is only 500 students. What a different world I live now.

ren are in school (4th, 6th, and 8th grade OMG) I have decided to finally go back to school myself. I am a Junior at Northwestern University in Natchitoches plucking away at earning my degree in early childhood education.
I do not miss Nashua very much. I have been gone so long that Louisiana is my home. I do go visit my family every 2 or so years, but I try not to stay long. It is too fast passed for me now. My children freak when we go, they say there are way too many cars and stop lights. (We live in the country where it takes 35 minutes to get to a grocery store).
Anyway, that's about it for me.
